The TILO VC(3) Video Checker Benchtop Camera Test Light Box is designed to provide controlled and consistent lighting for camera testing, inspection, and visual evaluation. It allows you to test cameras under different standard lighting conditions while maintaining high illumination uniformity.

The light source can be switched between different standard color temperatures, and the illumination level can be continuously adjusted according to your testing requirements. This makes the VC(3) suitable for applications where accurate and repeatable lighting conditions are important.

Key Features

The VC(3) provides four standard light sources: D65, A, TL84, and CWF. You can quickly switch between these light sources using the built-in microcomputer control system.

The light box includes a timer function that separately records the operating time of each light source. This helps you monitor lamp usage and determine when replacement may be required.

The interior of the light box uses a neutral grey background to reduce the effect of external light and provide a more controlled testing environment.

Illumination can be adjusted according to the testing requirements, with illumination uniformity higher than 85%. The test distance can also be adjusted between 0.48 and 1.4 meters, allowing you to configure the setup according to the camera or product being tested.

The light box has a size of 98 cm wide, 60 cm deep, and 85 cm high, providing a suitable benchtop testing area.

Easy Light Source Control

Lamp Life and Maintenance

Lamp life mainly depends on the total operating time and the number of times the lamp is switched on. Frequent switching can reduce the effective service life of the lamps.

If you need to use the light box several times within a short period, it is recommended to avoid repeatedly switching the system on and off. When the light box will not be used for an extended period, it should be switched off.

When a lamp becomes aged, illumination may become unstable or the ends of the lamp may become dark. In this situation, the lamp should be replaced to maintain proper testing performance.

When replacing a lamp, the accumulated usage time of the replaced lamp can be cleared using the CLR function so that the new lamp can be monitored correctly.

Replacement lamps and other standard components should be purchased from an authorized or professional supplier because the lamps used in the light box are specialized laboratory-standard light sources and are different from ordinary household lighting products.

Cleaning and Care

For regular cleaning, use a clean, soft white cloth slightly dampened with water to remove dust or fingerprints from the inner wall or bottom plate.

Avoid using hard objects or chemical cleaning products on the inner surface, as they may damage the light-absorbing layer and affect the performance of the light box.
